FAQ
Let's clear up the questions first
These are the questions we kept asking ourselves while building this. If what you care about isn't here, just reach out to us directly.
01Is this a password manager?
No. We don't autofill logins, and we don't take over your accounts. What we record is which digital assets you hold, roughly what they're worth and what should be done with them. Passwords are optional: record them through encrypted entry, stored encrypted and visible to your family only with your authorisation.
02Can my family see my passwords or full phone number?
Not by default. Passwords and other sensitive fields are encrypted at rest and always masked on display, and family members can only see them once you authorise it; full phone numbers are never shown. Even when a family member is granted the highest 'sensitive information' permission, they still need a second confirmation, and every view leaves an audit record.
03What exactly can family members see?
It depends on the tier you grant: Overview (aggregated stats only), Inventory (name/category/platform/estimated value/handling), Sensitive information (including encrypted clues), or 'visible only after a reminder'. Each asset can also be tightened individually.
04What happens if I don't log in for a long time?
The platform first reminds you. If you stay inactive for longer still, it notifies the family members you have already authorised. Throughout, it only sends reminders — it never opens sensitive information on its own.
05Do private sharing links include my asset amounts?
No. Family invitation links contain no amounts or asset details. The other person registers and submits a 'request to become family' (real name, relationship, phone number), and only after you confirm them as a family member can they possibly see the scope you've authorised.
06What's the difference between public and private sharing?
Public sharing is for recommending the product (X, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn, email): a friend who signs up earns you reward points and remains an ordinary user. Private sharing is for a genuine hand-over (WhatsApp, email, SMS, direct messages), where the other person goes through the family request and confirmation flow.
07Where is my data stored?
In a server database we manage ourselves. Sensitive fields are stored encrypted, and phone numbers and emails are kept as an index hash plus ciphertext across two columns. We don't share data externally for anything unrelated to the service.
08Does AI parsing send my information to a third party?
We do call a third-party large language model for structured parsing — but before anything is sent, sensitive fragments such as phone numbers, ID numbers, bank cards, private keys and seed phrases are replaced with placeholders, and only the de-identified text leaves our system.
09Can I export my data and take it with me?
Yes. The inventory can be exported, including the fields you've recorded (sensitive fields shown in masked form).
10Which assets can I record?
Sixteen categories: money & payments, loans & liabilities, accounts & identity, subscriptions & auto-renewals, domains & websites, developer & cloud resources, crypto & blockchain, virtual goods & games, content & creators, points & memberships, phones & devices, medical & benefits, tax & legal, business & equity, relationships & privacy, and end-of-life matters.
11How much does it cost?
We're invite-only for now: users who receive an invite link join free, and sign-ups aren't open to the public yet. Once they open there will be a single charge: a lifetime membership of $299, paid once, with no subscription.
12Can it replace a will or a notarised document?
No. This tool is for recording and reminders. It has no legal effect and never transfers assets. It does not replace a will, a notarised document, or legal advice.
